We congratulated a new fold coming into the Taylor Thoroughbred Family. Heir to Glory gave birth to a baby girl (Star to Glory).

On February 17th, 2025, Konteekee was entered into a claiming race at Oaklawn Park, AK — a type of race where horses are available for purchase at a set claiming price until shortly before the race. Claiming races are considered entry-level, ranking below maiden special weight and allowance races.
Unfortunately, Konteekee was claimed and will no longer race under the Taylor Thoroughbred, LLC corporate name, effective immediately. However, there will be no name change — Konteekee will retain his original birth name and will likely continue to be seen competing on the FANDUEL Thoroughbred Racing Sports TV channel.
The Taylor Thoroughbred Team wishes the new owners nothing but the best in their new transition. We are proud of his journey and look forward to watching Konteekee's future successes on the track.

With a fast break out of the gate, Konteekee held steady in 4th around the turn. In an electrifying push down the stretch, Konteekee surged ahead to secure a 3rd place finish by a nose.

After a slow start out of the gate, Konteekee powered through the pack with a wide rally around the far turn. In a neck-and-neck battle down the stretch, Konteekee secured an impressive 3rd place finish.

After an unusually slow start, Konteekee found himself near the tail of the field as they reached the top of the stretch. In a field of 11, the grass track proved unkind with Konteekee finishing 9th.

In today's competition, featuring a "final four" after two horses were scratched, Konteekee managed to hold 2nd place despite a slow start. However, the last quarter of a mile turned into a tight contest for 2nd and 3rd places. Ultimately, Konteekee fell short, finishing in 3rd.

After an unusually delayed start from the gate, Konteekee began the race in 8th place. However, with a strong push down the stretch, Konteekee secured a solid 4th-place finish.

Racing in unfavorable conditions, Konteekee started in 6th place, trailing behind the leading horses as they approached the far turn. Despite the challenge, Konteekee mounted a strong rally, ending in a photo for 3rd place.

After a couple of disappointing finishes, Konteekee breaks his maiden at Oaklawn Park! With an accelerated start out of the gate, jockey Kelsi Harr maintained a firm 3rd place, moving stride for stride into 2nd heading into the far turn. With a two-length lead, Konteekee displayed his speed down the homestretch, winning his first race in a 42-1 upset!
